Substitute Bus Drivers

Hourly Rate 22.15

This is a substitute position with no guarantee of hours or days .

The job of Substitute Bus Driver is to transport students over scheduled routes and/or special trips in accordance with state laws and district policy; enforcing rules, regulations, and laws to maintain safety during transport; ensuring the vehicle is in safe operating condition and ensuring safety of students during transport, loading and unloading from buses, so that students may enjoy the fullest possible advantage from the district’s curriculum and extra-curricular program.

Responsibilities will include operating school buses under all types of weather conditions, including but not limited to fog, rain, hail, sleet, snow and ice. Transport students and other authorized persons to and from school. Perform other transportation duties deemed necessary by the administration.
