Sexual Harassment
The Southside School Board recognizes its responsibility to provide an environment for students and staff free from all types of discrimination, including sexual harassment. Sexual harassment is defined as deliberate verbal, visual or physical advances or comments, made within the school setting and unwelcome by the person for whom they are intended. All complaints should be filed with the Superintendent and will be thoroughly investigated.

The Southside School District No. 042 complies with all federal and state rules and regulations and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex or disability. This holds true for all district employment and opportunities and for students who are interested in participating in educational programs and/or all curricular and co-curricular programs and activities. Special Education Public Participation / Notice of Availability
The district welcomes public participation and input regarding the planning and operating of the district’s special education program. Any application and any required policies, procedures, evaluations, plans, and reports relating to the district’s special education program are available for public review and comment through the district’s special education and superintendent offices.
